The event was attended by many alumni of the journal along with current students and supporters of the journal.

We have a several alumni sign up to join TELA as Founding Fellows this summer. We encourage all journal alumni to consider donating to TELA, whether as a Founding Fellow or as an annual member.

Our next happy hour will be in Austin in September. Stay tuned for details.

Through the end of 2011, we encourage you to help establish TELA’s initial endowment by donating $1,000 and becoming a Founding Fellow.  Founding Fellows are eligible for leadership positions in TELA, and your tax deductible gift will provide the seed money for our scholarship program.  Your donation as a Founding Fellow can be made over time in installments, but the opportunity to become a Founding Fellow is only available for a limited time.  If you are unable to commit to being a Founding Fellow, we also offer annual membership in the organization for an annual donation of at least $75.  Donors will be invited to TELA and TJOGEL events throughout the state.
